Spring Emergence Camping Event - May 22 - 25
Attend, good gentles of fair Artemisia, and mark well the herald's call.
The “snows” loosen their grip upon the fields, and the sun, though still pale, turns her gaze once more to the waking earth. From winter’s hush rises the first bloom of spring, a tulip bold and bright, standing in quiet defiance of the cold and bearing witness to the season's return.
So too does the Shire of Stonegate rise, calling all folk of noble heart and curious spirit to gather at Indian Springs for Spring Emergence.
Beneath the open Sky, hearthfires shall be kindled anew, and good company shall warm both heart and hall. Come, artisans and warriors, archers and bards, to share in the first camp of the turning year.
Here we shall honor the earth reborn, the Fellowship of our people, and the promise of days yet to come. For as the tulip blooms through the lingering snow, so does Stonegate's spirit endeavor and flourish. Thus, all travelers are welcome to join us and bear witness to the awakening of spring

With spring emerging upon the land, we are pleased to announce a lively and varied days of shooting at Spring Emergence Archery.
The range will offer challenges of skill, accuracy, judgment, and a touch of whimsy—fit for archers of all experience levels.
If range approval and time allow, we may offer clout shooting at 150 yards and 250 yards.
We look forward to gathering with you upon the range as the world awakens once more.
May your aim be true, your arrows fly clean, and your spring begin with joy.
Upon the butts is set a honey‑comb pattern, wrought of many cells and laid out in no fixed order. The comb is composed of white, black, blue, red, and yellow cells, scattered without pattern across the field. Each cell bears the customary value of its color, scored as upon a standard target.
Archers may strike any cell they choose, selecting their marks strategically among the scattered colors.
The Soldier Bee
Each hive is guarded by a Soldier Bee, set apart from the comb itself. A shaft that strikes the Soldier Bee earns +10 points.
The Bee may be struck only once per end.
This guardian stands as a test of both precision and judgment, requiring archers to balance steady scoring with daring opportunity.
Format: 6 rounds of 6 arrows at 20 yards.
Marshal: Lady Raina
The familiar colors of the archery target—white, black, blue, red, and yellow—are arrayed in unusual patterns, scattered designs, and unpredictable arrangements. No two targets alike; no fixed order to follow.
Each color bears its customary value, and archers must adapt quickly to shifting layouts, gauging proportion and distance where the pattern offers no guidance.
Marshal: Honorable Lordship Sven

Marshal: Master Poplyr
Royal Rounds will be available throughout the day for those seeking to begin or improve their seasonal ranking.
Will the furious wheel of fortune lift you high, or crush your bones?
Combatants will randomly determine what weapon they will use each round. Each combatant will also get 1 redraw token they can use on themselves, and 1 redraw token they can use on their opponent.
If a combatant is not authorized in the form they draw, they will instead be permitted to use a form they are authorized in.
In addition to their normal preferred weapons, combatants are encouraged to bring extra single handed weapons, hand-and-a-half or two handed weapons, pole weapons up to 7.5 ft, daggers, and gauntlets.
The Marshal of the Field reserves the right to adjust weapon assignments for safety purposes.
This open training and practice session welcomes fighters of all skill levels, from novices to seasoned warriors. Fighters should expect to provide their own marshal coverage.
